Dr. Shi Zhou is an Associate Professor with the Department of Computer Science, UCL. He is affiliated with the Information and Decision Systems (IDS) Research Group, the Centre for Artificial Intelligence, and the Center for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Cybersecurity at UCL.
**NEW** Shi Zhou has been promoted to Professor of Network Science, which will come into effect from 1 Oct 2023.
His research interests include network science, complex network theory, the Internet topology and routing, online social networks, cybersecurity, and epidemic spreading.
He received his PhD in Telecomm at Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL) in 2004. He was awarded a prestigious Royal Academy of Engineering / EPSRC Research Fellowship from 2007 to 2012.
He is a Senior Member of IEEE. He is a Committee Member of the Internet Specialist Group of the British Computer Society (BCS). He is an Editor of research journals PLOS ONE and Scientific Reports.
