Shi Zhou is a Professor of Network Science at the Department of Computer Science, UCL. He is affiliated with the Information and Decision Systems (IDS) Research Group, the Centre for Artificial Intelligence, and the Center for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Cybersecurity at UCL.
His research interests are related to network science, including complex networks theory, the Internet AS topology, the Internet BGP routing, cybersecurity, epidemic modelling, information spreading, and opinion dynamics in social networks.
He received his PhD at Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL) in 2004. He was awarded a prestigious Royal Academy of Engineering / EPSRC Research Fellowship in 2007.
He is a Committee Member of the Internet Specialist Group of the British Computer Society (BCS). He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
